Fire destroys camper near Elimsport

ELIMSPORT -- Volunteer firefighters rushed to the 3800 block of Elimsport Road when a camper between a house and a garage caught fire about 4:20 p.m. Wednesday. The camper was engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived, and the fire was starting to spread to the garage, but firefighters were successful in getting the fire under control before there was any serious damage to the structure. Firemen from Washington Township, Clinton Township and Montgomery responded. No one was injured, officials said.
