Woman-owned law office on list of top 50

The elder care and special needs law firm of Steinbacher, Goodall and Yurchak was recently selected as one of the “Fifty to Follow” Women-Owned Businesses by Pennsylvania Women in Business, a publication of Pennsylvania Business Central, according to a news release.

Julieanne E. Steinbacher established the Williamsport-based firm in 2002. In 2015, the firm expanded to Centre County by adding an established State College office, as H. Amos Goodall Jr. and Kathleen Yurchak joined the team.

“The vision of the elder care law firm is to bridge the gap between the legal system and the aging network,” Steinbacher said, according to the news release. “Every document and plan is tailored to meet each client’s specific needs, and no two plans are ever the same. Our focus on planning before need makes our firm unique.”

Steinbacher, Goodall and Yurchak offers its clients a vast array of legal services to help them plan for their second half of life. According to the news release, the firm also established the Elder and Special Needs Resource Center to educate the community about resources that are available for people who are aging or living with a disability. Free seminars are held each month at the resource center on a variety of topics ranging from Medicare plans to how to pay for nursing home care.
