10 people charged in Elkland District Court

ELKLAND — Ten people either have appeared or will appear before District Judge James Edgcomb to face various charges.

They are:

• Misty M. Wilson, 38, of 17960 Route 287, Tioga, faces charges of endangering the welfare of children for allegedly leaving her two young children, aged 6 months and 9 years, alone in the residence while she “ran to a neighbor’s to do laundry” on Nov. 21. She was released on the condition she not leave the children alone and her preliminary hearing held Thursday.

• Joshua G. Davenport, 31, of 210 Maple St., Knoxville, state police, faces charges of making an unsworn false statement under penalty when he tried to purchase a Taurus PT-111 9 mm pistol at Barber’s Firearms, 7070 Route 249, Westfield Township. July 30. Police said Davenport answered no to the question on the ATF form which asked if he had ever been convicted of a felony for which he could have been imprisoned for more than a year, when in September of 2006 he pled guilty to a driving under the influence of intoxicants charge. He was issued a summons to appear at a Dec. 29 preliminary hearing.

• Randy M. Allington, 56, of 8 Center St., Tioga, faces charges of obstruction of the administration of law, and disorderly conduct after he allegedly contacted the Mansfield state police barracks 35 times on June 4 for no legitimate purpose, interfering and obstructing the primary function of the police communications officer. He was issued a summons to appear at a Dec. 29 preliminary hearing.

• William C. Caparulo, 23, of Cameron, New York, faces charges of possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia following a traffic stop by state police on Route 287, Lawrence Township Nov. 5. He was issued a summons to appear at a Jan. 5 preliminary hearing.

• Sean G. Bailey, 28, of 19 N. Main St., Tioga, faces charges of DUI following a traffic stop by Tioga borough police on Route 287, Nov. 25. He was issued a summons to appear at a Dec. 29 preliminary hearing.

• Rebecca L. Paul, 22, of 5362 Route 49, of Knoxville, faces charges of DUI after she crashed her car into a fire hydrant at 207 West Main St., Elkland Nov. 5. She was issued a summons to appear at a Jan. 5 preliminary hearing.

• Bryan L. Blackwell, 36, of 22 Third St., Mansfield, faces charges of DUI following a high speed chase and traffic stop on Route 49, Lawrence Township, Nov. 5. He was issued a summons to appear at a Jan. 5 preliminary hearing.

• Lane M. Gee, 21, of 4084 Cornell St., Wellsboro, faces charges of DUI after he crashed his car on Route 287, Nov. 5. He was issued a summons to appear at a Jan. 12 preliminary hearing.

• Justin M. Appleby, 38, of 5307 Main St., Millerton, faces charges of DUI following a traffic stop by state police on Route 287 Nov. 5. He was issued a summons to appear at a Jan. 12 preliminary hearing.

• Brett R, Gigee, 36, of 150 Bluebird Lane, Westfield, state police Route 49, Bluebird Lane, Westfield Township, Oct. 23, following a traffic stop on Route 49, DUI, summons to appear Jan. 5.
