9 face drug charges

Nine people have been charged with various drug offenses, according to court records. Those charged and the police departments involved were:

• Eugene Allen Clay, 27, of 319 Tinsman Ave.; city police; possession with intent to deliver 39 bags of heroin in the 500 block of Memorial Avenue on Wednesday; 34 bags were found in a trash can and another five were found his his car; police allege he dumped the bags in the trash can; jailed in lieu of $95,000 bail and a probation violation.

• Matthew R. Smith, 28, of 765 W. Fourth St.; state police; possession with intent to deliver two grams of crack cocaine at West Fourth and Campbell streets in the city on Wednesday; jailed in lieu of $95,000 bail.

• Vera Marie Baysore, 29, of Jersey Shore; Lycoming County District Attorney’s Office; possession of crack cocaine and contraband for allegedly having the controlled substance when she was committed to the Lycoming County Prison on probation violation on Dec. 1; recommitted in lieu of $20,000 bail.

• Kylah Lyn Winder, 18, of 717 Center St. city police; possession with intent to deliver 60 bags of heroin, eight grams of cocaine and 10 grams of methamphetamine in the 1300 block of Park Avenue on Nov. 12; jailed in lieu of $25,000 bail and a probation violation.

• Emerson T. Chase IV, 43, of 809 Wilson St.; city police; possession with intent to deliver three bundles of heroin (32 bags) and 33 grams of crack cocaine at his home on Oct. 27; jailed in lieu of $95,000 bail and a probation violation.

• Joyleen D. McClements, 45, of 599 Grandview Drive, Linden; state police; possession with intent to deliver controlled substances and related offenses; 31 bags of heroin at Wildwood Boulevard and High Street in the city on Oct. 20 and 20 bags of heroin in the 1900 block of Lycoming Creek Road in Old Lycoming Township on Oct. 25; jailed in lieu of $75,000 bail.

• Nia Demetria Turner, 19, of 1165 High St.; city police; possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia in the 600 block of Hepburn Street on Sept. 1; released on $5,000 bail.

• Fabrian G. Bradley III, 24, of 1821 Motters Lane; city police; possession with intent to deliver 12 bags of heroin and illegal use of a cellphone at Sixth and Hepburn streets on Aug. 4; jailed in lieu of $35,000 bail and a probation violation.

• Tahir C. Patterson, 22, of Pittsburgh; city police; possession with intent to deliver 10 bags of heroin and related offenses in the 700 block of West Edwin Street on July 18; jailed in lieu of $125,000 bail.
