A Ford pickup truck and a silver Chevrolet Equinox struck one another in a head-on collision Tuesday night at the intersection of Village Road and Route 220 in Pennsdale. Authorities did not know the ages or the names of the drivers in the accident, but according to Scott Oldweiler, of the Pennsdale Volunteer Fire Co., the owner of the Chevrolet, an “older woman,” had to be extracted from her vehicle. Her injuries were minor. The driver of the Ford, a “young man,” was uninjured. The accident still is under investigation, according to authorities.
