A volunteer firefighter sweeps crash debris on Route 15 following a three-vehicle accident that occurred about a half mile south of South Williamsport at 3 p.m. Wednesday. The drivers of two cars that collided were injured. The man driving the demolished Toyota Corolla shown in the background at right was taken by ambulance to the UPMC Susquehanna Williamsport Regional Medical Center to be treated for his injuries while the driver of the second car declined treatment for minor injuries, Jason Young, assistant South Williamsport fire chief, said. A tractor-trailer truck that also was involved in the crash sustained very minor damage. State police were investigating the cause of the accident.
