Today, Sept. 11, 2017, the 16th anniversary of the 9/11 attack, I happened to watch the president speak in honor of the attack on the Twin Towers and in Pennsylvania. I have to say that I was most impressed. I am not a fan of our president, but I felt that he was honest in his presentation. It seemed to be heartfelt. Hopefully he won't follow up with some childish remarks like usual.
Also, I would like to say that I hope everyone is doing their best to give support to the victims of Hurricanes Harvey and Irma.
No matter if we feel that maybe we have been treated in bad way by others, we need to think about the welfare of those who can't help themselves in time of need. So, do what you can, give money, items for cleanup and restoration, prayer for them. It will always be paid forward.
September 13, I read today that the bus service from Williamsport will be extended to Lock Haven. I think that is a good idea. We will benefit from more business and people from that area will benefit from being able to have access to another area to shop. Hurrah for Williamsport.
Now, if we could get rid of the drugs we might be in great shape!
