With just a little push
Before I married my second wife she was living off the government or as people call it “Welfare” She was made to work for her money. Her son was in school, so the state made her work six hours a day to earn the money she received. She came home with sore hands from picking stones and when she didn’t do that she picked garbage off the highways. After a little more than a month she went and found a job! That was 30+ years ago and she still has the same job she had then, due to a little push the state gave her.
