A 66-year-old Wellsboro man was killed about 8 p.m. Saturday while riding on a motorcycle on Route 6 in Shippen Township in Tioga County, state police at Mansfield said.
Drake G. Morse, 66, died at the scene after his motorcycle, a 2103 Triumph, struck a guard rail along the highway, a trooper said.
Morse, who was wearing a helmet, was pronounced dead at the scene by the Tioga County Coroner James Daugherty, a trooper said.
Troopers indicated Morse was the lone occupant on the vehicle. Troopers had no explanation as to what caused the accident.
