Firefighters from at least two counties are on the scene of a house fire at a large property owned by the St. John family at 330 Brewery Hollow Road in Woodward Township, Clinton County.
Upon arrival at the scene, flames were shooting through the roof.
Multiple fire companies were dispatched from Clinton and Lycoming Counties to the blaze, which was reported a little after 12 p.m.
It was unclear if anyone was home at the time, however, The Express reporter observed people using a garden hose to try to douse the flames also tried to corral a dog on the property.
The Jay Street Bridge was closed for some time to allow fire trucks to cross.
