The cost of steel is skyrocketing due to the U.S. administration, specifically the Federal Reserve and U.S. Treasury flooding the economy with free money. The people in charge of protecting our country are destroying our currency, in my opinion. Put the blame squarely on the likes of Bernanke, Yellen and Powell.
Furthermore, check out the price of a 2x12x16-foot piece of lumber. They are currently fetching around $50.
