A motion to bring students back for five-day in-person instruction failed twice to gain approval by the Williamsport Area School Board. Bowers, superintendent at the Williamsport Area School District, announced the district has received a $966,400 from the Lycoming County Commissioners as the district’s part of the CARES Act.
