Riley Parker ran for 203 yards and three touchdowns to help Canton defeat Athens, 34-10. The Warriors took a 21-7 lead into the half.
Canton ran for 403 yards, as Wes Bellows added 76, Cooper Kitchen had 73 and a touchdown and Hayden Ward ran for 44 and a score.
Kitchen broke a 60-yard TD run for the game's opening score just 22 seconds into the game.
Athens didn't score until two seconds remained in the second quarter when Mason Lister had a 2 yard TD pass from Matt Machmer. He finished with 152 passing yards and Karter Rude had a team-high 69 rushing yards.
SHAMOKIN 27, MILTON 14
Xzavier Minium ran for 138 yards and a touchdown and Ashton Canelo added 57 on the ground, but Shamokin held on to earn a 13-point.
The Black Panthers hung with Shamokin early, trailing just 14-7 after the first quarter, but the Indians took a 21-7 lead into the half.
Milton cut the deficit to 21-14 when Chris Doyle had a 2-yard run with 9:20 to play, but Shamokin would score a touchdown thanks to a fumble recovery in the endzone by Aaron Frasch wtih 3:21 left to go ahead by 13 and all but seal the game.
Doyle finished with 40 rushing yards. Max Madden had 152 yards and two touchdowns for Shamokin, and Frasch added 43.
The game was focused on the ground as the two teams combined for just eight passing yards.
LEWISBURG 42,
SHIKELLAMY 7
A 214-yard rushing performance by the Green Dragons helped Lewisburg defeat Shikellamy and defensively, Lewisburg played well.
The Green Dragons didn't allow Shikellamy to score until 32 seconds remained in the second quarter when John Peiffer had a 24-yard strike to Braydon Wertman.
Ethan Dominick ran for 130 yards and three touchdowns to lead Lewisburg. Two of his touchdowns came in the first quarter. Cam Michaels added 84 yards. In the air, Zander Walter threw for 88 on just four completions.
No Shikellamy running back had more than 41 rushing yards.
