Fordham football cruises to a win over Bucknell

Bucknell lost on the road to Fordham, 66-21, to fall to 1-5 while the Rams improved to 4-3.

Tim Demorat threw for 318 yards and an impressive six touchdowns to lead the Rams. Trey Sneed ran for 137 yards on 15 carries, averaging 9.1 yards per carry, and Antonio Feria averaged 12.4 with 87 yards on seven carries.

Nick Semptimphelter threw for 100 yards, going 13 for 24, for the Bison and had an interception.

Rushawn Baker saw some success on the ground, running for 78 yards on seven carries, averaging 11.1 yards per rush, and scored a touchdown. Jared Cooper (49 yards) and Danny Meusser (38 yards) also scored a touchdown.

Fordham held a 21-7 lead after the first quarter and built up a 45-14 lead by halftime.

The Rams had 697 yards of total offense as Fordham threw for 354 and ran for 343. Bucknell had just 269 yards of total offense, 145 through the air and 124 rushing.

The loss Saturday was the second straight for Bucknell after a 21-10 win against Cornell on Oct. 2. Bucknell hosts Georgetown on Saturday at 1 p.m.
