Army West Point rushes for more than 400 yards in win against Bucknell

Army West Point scored 21 points in each of the first two quarters en route to a 63-10 rout over Bucknell on Saturday.

With the win, Army West Point improves to 6-3 and Bucknell falls to 1-9.

Ethan Grady led Bucknell with 136 passing yards.

The Black Knights had 18 ball carriers on Saturday as the team ran for 428 yards, averaging 7.0 per carry as a team. Tyson Riley had 70 yards, Christian Anderson had 43 and Cade Ballard had 40. The Black Knights scored eight of its nine touchdowns on the ground. Jaari Laws had a passing touchdown as he went 3 for 3 for 58 yards.

Bucknell was led by Jared Cooper’s 33 rushing yards. He also scored Bucnkell’s lone touchdown on a 19-yard run with 4:06 to play in the third quarter after Army West Point built up a staggering 49-0 lead. Just 69 seconds ater, Ryan Schatzel kicked a 25-yard field goal to cut the deficit to 49-10 with 2:55 left in the third quarter.
