Landon Lorson and Makai Day combined on a two-hitter and South scored multiple runs in three of its four at-bats as it hammered Loyalsock, 13-1 and built momentum entering the District 4 Class AA playoffs. Lorson struck out seven in four innings before Day closed it with a perfect fifth inning, fanning two. DJ Gantz and Grant Bachman each had hits and two RBIs as South (13-5) won its second game in two days. Lorson helped his cause by going 2 for 4 with an RBI and three runs.
