Penn College recently welcomed high school students to its second week of Pre-College Programs. Among the offerings was the four-day Have Your Cake and Decorate It, Too, program, during which 17 teens each decorated seven cakes, incorporating skills using butter cream, gum paste, marzipan, chocolate, fondant and more. The camp was led by Chef Todd M. Keeley, assistant professor of baking and pastry arts/culinary arts. Other pre-college programs held the same week: Automotive Restoration; Design, Build & Grow Landscape & Horticulture; Diesel Truck & Heavy Equipment; Fundamentals of Emergency Response; Graphic Design Summer Studio; Non-Destructive Testing; and Thingamajig "Tinker-Belles."
