Buckin' Bean brings a whole new meaning to coffee on the go.
Founded in February of 2023 by Jesse and Mariah Wagner, Buckin' Bean is a mobile coffee trailer that travels to different locations in the Lycoming County area.
The Wagners began with a different business called Wagner's Wasted Whoopies. They were looking to expand their business and felt that coffee would pair well with their pre-existing business. Out of that idea, Buckin' Bean was born.
"The coffee has taken over," Mariah Wagner said.
The couple's main focus has been on Buckin' Bean since it has been received so well. They have put their whoopie pie business on the back burner during this time.
Buckin' Bean offers a variety of drinks to their customers. They offer hot and iced coffee, nitro cold brew, hot cocoa, "cowboy coolers," which are comparable to refreshers, and iced teas. Their "cowboy coolers" are made with seltzer water. The coffees and "cowboy coolers" are offered in a variety of signature flavors.
Recently, Buckin's Bean began offering a frozen option of their drinks to customers. Customers also have the option to top their drinks with a variety of flavored cold foams or add an energy boost to their "cowboy cooler" for an additional cost.
The featured flavor for the month of August is peach. Three specialty drinks have been added to the menu for the month.
The Peaches & Cream Nitro is a fresh peaches and cream flavored nitro cold brew. The Peachy Keen is a vanilla, cinnamon and brown sugar flavored iced coffee topped with a peach flavored cold foam.
The Kiss my Peach is a peach and white chocolate flavored "cowboy cooler."
"Pretty much any drink can be regular or sugar free or have a dairy alternative," Mariah said.
Buckin' Bean is still trying to grow the area that they are servicing, according to Mariah. They are always looking for new places to stop.
To find locations for the Buckin' Bean mobile coffee trailer, calendar schedules are posted to their Facebook weekly and monthly. New specials and drinks are also posted to their Facebook frequently.
