Herb and Eleanor Bingman, of Dunnstown, observed their 50th wedding anniversary on April 18, 2020. They were married by the former Rev. Daniel Robinson at the Dunnstown United Methodist Church, where they are still active members.
Eleanor is the daughter of the late Harry and Dorothy Shoemaker. Herb is the son of the late Herbert "Max" and Mabel Bingman. Herb and Eleanor are the parents of two daughters, Cathy (Paul) Rizzo, of Charleton, and Lori (Mark) Stamm, of Jersey Shore. They have four grandchildren.
Both are enjoying their retirement years by spending time with their family and friends. They enjoy following their grandchildren's activities, as well as fishing, gardening and various church activities.
Their family is planning a celebration, which will be held at a later date when it is safe for all to gather. The couple has a trip to Canada planned for this summer.
