Harry M. and Freda M. Pepperman, of Montoursville, will observe their 70th anniversary on April 28. They were married by the Rev. Clarence Hershey in the St. James Lutheran Church parsonage, Montoursville.
The former Freda M. Temple, a native of Moreland Township, is the daughter of the late Ardella M. (Holmes) and Oscar E. Temple. She graduated from Hughesville High School in 1949 and is a homemaker.
Mr. Pepperman, a native of Montoursville, is the son of the late Nellie E. (Hayes) and Harry M. Pepperman. He attended Montoursville High School and served in the United States Army Air Corps where he worked on B-25s. He retired from Sprout Waldron, Koppers, as a draftsman.
They are the parents of four children, Donald M. Pepperman, Jeanne M. Knowlden, Janice K. Thomas and Joan E. Barrett. There are five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
