Max and Norma Peacock, of Williamsport, formerly of Cogan Station, will celebrate their 70th anniversary on June 2. They were married in 1950 by Rev. Cleon Haight in Lewisburg. They are members of the Steam Valley Bible Church, Trout Run.
The former Norma Pentland, of Cogan Station, is the daughter of Ralph and Regina Pentland. She was a homemaker.
Max, of Linden, is the son of Melvin and Evabell Peacock. He retired from Bethlehem Steel, Williamsport, and also from Kinley's Subaru, Williamsport.
They are the parents of Janet Loffredo, of Linden, Theron Peacock, of Fredericks, Virginia, Joan Delker, of Muncy, Thann Peacock, of Garfield Heights, Ohio, and Trent Peacock, of Cogan Station. They have 14 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren.
