Outdoorsy duo celebrates 70th anniversary
On Wednesday, Feb. 10, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Myers of Williamsport celebrated 70 years of marital bliss.
Robert worked as a carpenter of customized kitchens and baths, and retired after nearly 50 years.
Esther, a devoted wife and loving mother, raised their five children while working at Brodart, later retiring from Shop-Vac.
Together they have enjoyed travels abroad and quiet weekends at the Lodge. They also take pleasure in many outdoor activities, hiking, fishing, skiing, hunting and picnics. One of their earliest outings was at Half-Way Dam, a popular spot back in the day.
The couple reaches out to family and friend alike. They are a blessing and are truly blessed by God. Congratulations are in order.
