Mr. and Mrs. Delmer Kirkendall of Arnot, shared their 66th wedding anniversary on June 25. The couple eloped and were married by the late Rev. Clyde Truax in Elmira Heights, New York.
The couple are longtime members and are active in the Arnot Presbyterian Church, now the Arnot Community Church.
The former Lois Bellinger is a native of Blossburg and the daughter of the late Harold and Marion Ogden Bellinger. She graduated from Blossburg High School in 1953 and retired from Liberty Lingerie in 1995.
Delmer is a native of Barton, New York, and is the son of the late Luther and Edith Wilson Kirkendall. He attended Liberty High School and served in the 25th Division 725th Ordinance Battalion of the U.S. Army. He retired from Ward Manufacturing in 1996.
They are the parents of the late Cheryl Roan, of Liberty. They have four grandchildren, four stepgrandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and seven stepgreat-grandchildren.
