Mr. and Mrs. Bernard J. Dincher, of Williamsport, will be celebrating their 70th wedding anniversary on June 30, 2021. The two were married at Ascension Catholic Church in Williamsport, officiated by Rev. Charles O'Donnell. The two are members of St. Joseph the Worker Parish.
Bernard J. Dincher, native of Williamsport, is the son of the late Michael and Mary Dincher and is an alumnus of Williamsport Area High School. He also attended University of Kentucky and retired from Anchor Darling Valve after 43 years and is the co-founder of Dincher and Dincher Tree Service.
Helen L. Yoder, native of Williamsport, is the daughter of the late Hannah and Forrest Yoder and is an alumna of Williamsport Area High School.
Through their 70 years of marriage, the two have four daughters, the late Judith Young, Barbara J. Cellini, Rita M. DelGrippo and Constance Howard, all of Williamsport; two sons, Thomas M. Dincher, of Williamsport and Joseph A. Dincher, of Bastress Township. They also had 22 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
The couple will have an open house on Friday, July 2, from 7 to 9 p.m. at 2207 Baker St., Williamsport.
