Cogan Station couple celebrates 40 years


Timothy and Rebecca (Kinley) Laird, of Cogan Station, will observe their 40th wedding anniversary Aug. 1. They were married by the Rev. Thomas Wilcox at East End Christian Missionary Alliance. They are members of Faith Wesleyan Church, Williamsport.

Rebecca, a native of Williamsport, is the daughter of the late Robert and Ruth Kinley. She attended Loyalsock Township High School. In her retirement, she enjoys caring for her grandchildren.

Timothy, a native of Bellefonte, is the son of the late Charles and Marjorie Laird. He attended Jersey Shore Area High School and the former Williamsport Area Community College. He is employed by Blaise Alexander Subaru, Montoursville, as a salesman.

They are the parents of two daughters, Andrea (Jesse) Velarde of Schnecksville and Leila (Reuben) Rotz of Williamsport and a son, Caleb, of Anchorage, Alaska. There are three grandchildren, Joel, Hunter and Branch.
