George and Jane Lowmaster of Montoursville celebrate their 66th wedding anniversary on Friday, Dec. 31. They were married in the Church of God in Canoe Ridge, Pennsylvania by the Rev. C.H. Wilson. They now attend Bethel United Methodist Church of Montoursville.

Jane, the former Jane Gaston, was born the daughter of the late Ray and Henrietta Gaston. She is a 1953 graduate of the Marion Center High School. She spent many years as a childcare provider.

George is the son of the late Ben and Twila Lowmaster. He is a 1952 graduate of Marion Center High School. He studied at the former Williamsport Technical Institute as a tool and die maker. He worked 23 years at Sylvania, Montoursville and retired from Norcen Industries, Jersey Shore.

Jane and George are the parents of Georgia (William) Csont and Timothy (Nancy) Lowmaser. They have six grandchildren: Henna (Tristan), Maddie, Will, Meredith, Kaelyn (Adam), Ben and one great grandchild: Leah, and another on the way.
