Tom and Judy Temple, of South Williamsport, are celebrating 50 years of marriage.
They were married on Dec. 18, 1971, by Monsignor Francis J. Castellano at Mater Delorosa Church in Williamsport.
The former Judith A. Kimble was born in Williamsport to the late Clifton and Margaret Kimble. She graduated from South Williamsport Junion/Senior High School in 1968. She worked for more than 30 years with and retired from Sovereign Bank in Montoursville.
Tom was born in Williamsport to the late Alvin and Margaret Temple. He was a 1967 graduate of Williamsport High School. He worked for more than 30 years and retired from the U.S. Postal Service.
They have one daughter, Michelle Temple, who resides in Tampa, Florida. They also have a son, Jeremy, and daughter-in-law, Heather, who reside in Blandon. There are two grandsons, Evan and Grady.
A trip to Florida took place in November, and a dinner was held Dec. 4 at Orlando's in Muncy.
