Helen Marie (Helminiak) and Joseph Earl Luke, of Williamsport, will observe their 70th wedding anniversary on April 26, 2022.
They were married by the Rev. Pointek at Mater Dolorosa Church. They are members of St. Boniface Church.
Mrs. Luke, a native of Williamsport, is the daughter of the late Rose and Peter Helminiak. She attended Williamsport Area High School and retired in 2004 from Rose View Center.
Mr. Luke, a native of Williamsport, is the son of the late Martha and Ambrose Luke. He graduated from Williamsport Area High School. He retired as owner and operator of Mr. B's men's clothing store.
They are the parents of two sons, Joe Luke, of Williamsport, and the late (infant) Matthew Luke; and five daughters, Linda Marinucci, and Karen DiPalo, both of Loyalsock Township; Chris Hughes, of Montoursville; Becky Hopkin, of Lawrenceville, Ga.; and Joanne Barr of Williamsport.
They have 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
