Wayne and Loretta Moffatt celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on Sept. 1, 2022. They were married at the First United Presbyterian Church in Houston, Pa.
Loretta is the daughter of the late James and Virginia Craig. She graduated from Chartiers-Houston High School and Lycoming College. She led the medical laboratory science program at both Divine Providence Hospital and Williamsport Hospital for over 50 years, retiring in 2015.
Wayne is the son of the late Raymond and Irene Moffatt. He graduated from Searles High School in Great Barrington, Massachusetts and Lycoming College. He taught English at Loyalsock High School for 35 years, retiring in 1997.
They are the parents of a daughter, Dawne Moffatt-Fairbanks (husband Ted) of Horseheads, New York, and Daren Moffatt (wife Lisa) of Mountville, Pa. They have five grandchildren: Samantha Fairbanks, Austin Fairbanks, Connor Moffatt, Ryan Moffatt, and Lauren Moffatt.
