Roger and Peggy Klettke, of Pennsdale, celebrated 50 years of marriage on Sept. 1.
They were married Sept. 1, 1972, by J.P. Winifred in Hughesville.
Peggy Klettke, the former Peggy Ann Schemery, was born in Williamsport to the late Lawrence and Myrtle Schemery.
Roger was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and attended Rufus King High School in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and served in the U.S. Navy on the ships USS Wasp and USS Blandy. The worked at the Paper Box Factory in Hughesville and co-owned PA Folding Carton.
They have five children – Michael Fisher of California, Patrick Fisher of Washington, D.C., Daryl Fisher of California, Robin Lukashunas of Hazleton and Scott Klettke of California, along with nine grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
