Aaron and Mary Kolb celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Nov. 22, 2022. They were married at Huber Mennonite Church in Ohio. Fifty years in, they continue to exemplify a growing and loving relationship to everyone in their life.
Mary is the daughter of the Herbert and Anna Mary Hoover. She graduated from Eastern Mennonite College. She has spent her life dedicated to serving others in schools, churches, hospitals and non-profit organizations throughout the Williamsport area and beyond. She continues to volunteer as a hospice volunteer when she isn't spending time with her grandchildren, friends, family and anyone in need.
Aaron is the son of the late Paul and Grace Kolb. He also graduated Eastern Mennonite College. He has been a local physician for over 40 years, serving his residency and general practice in Williamsport before moving into occupational medicine, wound care and emergency medicine. After retiring in 2019, spends his time beekeeping at Poco Farm Apiary, gardening, and enjoying his family and friends.
They are the parents of Laura Moon (husband Jin) of Chicago; Jeff Kolb of Denver, Colorado; Lisa Baclawski (husband Cory) of Saint Johnsbury, Vermont; and Michael Kolb (wife Colby) of Williamsport. They have nine grandchildren: Evolene, Emmanuel, Ivy, Gwenyth, Hazel, Silas, Lydia, Theo and Samuel.
