Louis E. Robbins Jr. and Jean Marie (Webster) Robbins were married on Tuesday, Dec. 28, 1954, at the Hughesville Baptist Church. Louis (Lou) was pursuing a business degree at Lycoming College, and Jean had earned her degree in nursing at the Robert Packer School of Nursing in Sayre. Lou worked for 40 years with High Steel, retiring in 1994. Jean worked for 40 years in nursing and retired in 1994 as well.
This vibrant couple raised four children: a daughter, Lujean, and three sons, Mark (Beth), Scott (Leona), who is deceased, and Craig (Debbie). They enjoy visiting with their five grandchildren and six step grandchildren, along with their 13 great-grandchildren.
