Donald and Shirley Fullmer, of DuBoistown, will celebrate their 70th wedding anniversary on Tuesday, Feb. 7, 2023. They were married by Reverend Raymond Shaheen on Feb. 7, 1953, at Messiah Lutheran Church in the Chapel of the Good Shepherd.

Donald is the son of the late Edmund and Erma Fullmer, of DuBoistown. Shirley is the daughter of the late McClellan and Esther Denius, of South Williamsport. Donald and Shirley are the parents of Jody Fullmer (Carl Gee), of South Williamsport; Sherri Holtzman, of DuBoistown; and the late Gary (Peggy) Fullmer, of Norwich, New York.

They have been blessed with four grandchildren, Nathan (Kari) Fullmer, Jaret (Doreen) Fullmer, both of Hatboro; Sara Fullmer ,of Sydney, Australia; Lexi (Nick McWilliams) Holtzman, of Bloomsburg; and the late Hali (Riley Dunkleberger) Fullmer, of South Williamsport. They are even greater blessed with eight great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
