Mr. and Mrs. John Stetts, Linden, will observe their 60th wedding anniversary on March 2, 2023.
They were married by the Rev. Henry Myers in Williamsport. They were also married a second time in the Catholic Church, Annunciation Parish. They are members of St. Joseph the Worker Parish, Annunciation Church.
Mrs. Stetts, the former Carol I. Strong, is a native of Williamsport. She is the daughter of the late Adadel and Mervin "Bud" Strong. She graduated from Williamsport Area High School in 1961 and retired in 2007 from Loyalsock Township School District as a secretary.
Mr. Stetts, a native of Williamsport, is the son of the late Dorothy and Joseph Stetts. He graduated from Williamsport Area High School in 1960 and retired from J.J. Electric as an electrical contractor and owner.
They are the parents of three daughters, Kimberly, of Williamsport; and Karen (Robert) Rishcoff and Kelly (Michael) Allison, both of South Williamsport; and a son, John (Victoria) Stetts, of Montoursville.
There are five grandchildren.
In honor of their anniversary, a dinner party was held, and a summer anniversary trip is being planned.
