Charles and Judy Swisher, of Hughesville, will be celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary on June 1, 2023.
They were married June 1, 1963, by Rev. Oscar Saxe at the Fairview UNited Methodist Church, Unityville.
Together, they have three children: Randy Swisher (Christine), of Hughesville; Heather Scarborough (Jim), of Montgomery; and Crystal Applegate (Steve), of Hughesville. They also had a daughter, April, who is now deceased.
They have three grandchildren: Jesse Scarborough, Katie Scarborough and Aaron Applegate.
They are planning a trip to Texas for their grandson's wedding in October.
Charles and Judy are members of Friends Church at Hughesville and thank God for their years together.
