Donald and Linda Cohick were married on June 10, 1978 by the bride's uncle, the Rev. Robert Lundy, at the Heshbon United Methodist Church, Williamsport, and are currently members of St. John's Newberry United Methodist Church.
They renewed their wedding vows on their 25th anniversary at St. John's Newberry United Methodist Church with Pastor Kraig Faust officiating.
Mrs. Cohick, the former Linda McCloskey, is the daughter of Harold E. McCloskey and the late Mabel Lundy McCloskey. She graduated from Williamsport Area High School in 1977. She is retired.
Mr. Cohick is the son of the late Regina Sedani Cohick and the late Donald Cohick Sr., and Grace Lundy Cohick. He retired in 1994 after 29 years and 9 months from Lycoming County government. He is also retired from the military with 27 years of combined service.
They spend 5-6 months of the winter as snowbirds in Webster, Florida.
They are the parents of Alisa Cohick, of Loyalsock, and Becky Cohick, of Gastonia, North Carolina.
They have one granddaughter, Alena Barone, of Loyalsock.
In honor of their anniversary, they will be going on an Eastern Caribbean Cruise in February 2024.
