Trout Run couple celebrates 50 years

Karen and Randy Stroble of Trout Run, recently celebrated 50 years of marriage. The two were married on July 14,1973 in the Faxon Kenmar United Methodist Church in Williamsport. They were married by the Rev. John Hurley. They are members of the Beech Valley United Methodist Church in Trout Run. Karen was born in Williamsport to the late parents of Paul and Romaine Ranck. Karen graduated from Williamsport Area High School in 1973. Karen worked in grocery stores (Curchoes on Park Avenue, Williamsport where she met Randy). She retired from Montour Oil/Superior Plus in Montoursville in 2017. Randy was born in Williamsport to the late parents of Donald and Dorothea Stroble. He graduated from Montoursville Area High School in 1970. Randy retired from Williamsport Wastewater Treatment Plant as plant superintendent in 2015. Randy and Karen are the proud parents of three sons, Randy Jr. (Sherri) of Chambersburg, Steven (deceased) of Trout Run, Gary (Julie) of Newark, Maryland. They are also the proud grandparents of four grandchildren: Gary II, Tara, Emily and Ian.
