Fifty years ago, on Aug. 18, 1973, Terry Lee Gamble and Mary Kay Plocinski were married in the Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, where they are current members. Mary Kay is the daughter of the late Clement Plocinski and Mary and Robert Dougherty. She graduated from South Williamsport High School and retired in 2019 from Primus Technologies Corp in Williamsport. Terry is the son of the late Donald Gamble and Laura Reed. He graduated from Williamsport High School, was drafted in the army in 1968, and served in the Vietnam War from 1969 to 1970. He later retired in 2013 from Conway-Freight Trucking Company.
Today, they celebrate a lifetime together with many shared memories. They have lived on top of the mountain in Bastress for nearly 50 years. Mr. and Mrs. Gamble have a son, Benjamin Gamble, and daughter-in-law, Lillie Langlois, of Pine Creek Valley. They have two grandchildren, 7-year-old Maria and 5-year-old Levon, who are the center of their world. They spend many happy days together watching and caring for their beloved grandchildren.
