GINA and RAY WHEELAND

Ray and Gina Wheeland of Liberty will observe their 45th wedding anniversary September 8, 2023.

They were married at Messiah Lutheran Church of South Williamsport. They are members of Liberty Lutheran Church of Liberty.

Mrs. Wheeland is the former Gina Hopkins and a native of Brookside. She is the daughter of Robert and Mary (Borrosco) Hopkins of Brookside. She graduated from Liberty High School in 1977.

Mr. Wheeland, a native of Liberty, is the son of the late Donald and Joyce Wheeland of Liberty. He graduated from Liberty High School in 1974.

They are the parents of three children: Damen (Jillianne) Wheeland of Mansfield, Derek (Alice) Wheeland of Liberty, and Marlana (George) Purcell of Washington, D.C. They have six grandchildren: Adynn, Kai, Landon, Stella, Elijah and Ezra.
