Tom and Kathy Robbins of Muncy Valley observed their 50th wedding anniversary on Sept. 15.
They were married by the Rev. Edgar Baker at Valley United Methodist Church, Muncy Valley.
Mrs. Robbins, the former Kathy A. Myers, is a native of North Mountain, Muncy Valley. She is the daughter of Tressie and Stanley Myers. She graduated from Sullivan County High School in 1970. She worked for Sullivan County School District as a teacher's aide, library clerk and in the office. She then worked for the Sullivan County Commissioners for 10 years. She served and retired in 2019 as Sullivan County Treasurer after 32 years.
Mr. Robbins is a native of Unityville and the son of the late Erla and Norman Robbins. He graduated from Hughesville High School in 1970. He worked for John Powell Chevrolet of Williamsport, Bob McCormick Ford of Hughesville and retired from Murray Motors in Muncy as service manager.
They were honored by family and friends Oct. 14 at a surprise get-together by Lin and Maureen Myers and family at their home on North Mountain.
