Richard and Kathleen Stopper -- Dick and Kathy -- will celebrate 50 years of marriage on April 20,2024. They were married on April 20,1974 at the former Ascension Catholic Church in Williamsport .
Kathy is retired as a RN and worked for 45 years in various hospital settings as a graduate from Williamsport Hospital School of Nursing.
Dick graduated from Williamsport Area Community College with a degree in heavy equipment and is currently working in this field.
They are the parents of four daughters: Gini (Jason) Miller in Groton, Massachusetts; Marybeth (Carl) Rhines in Brookville; Debra (Wade) Barren in Watsontown and Joanna in Williamsport. They also have five grandchildren.
