Timothy and Barbara Benshaw will observe their 50th wedding anniversary on May 18, 2024. They were married by Father Joseph Streit in the Divine Providence Chapel, Williamsport.
Barbara, a native of Williamsport, is the daughter of the late William and Charlotte Nichols. She graduated from Bishop Neumann High School in 1973. She retired from the Williamsport Area School District after 26 years where she worked as an administrative assistant.
Timothy, a native of Renovo, is the son of Neil and the late Carolyn Benshaw. He graduated from Williamsport Area High School in 1971. He retired from Norfolk Southern Railroad after 36 years of service as a conductor.
They are the parents of a son, Benjamin of Williamsport, and daughters Alexandria (Patrick) Sweeney, of Annapolis, Maryland and Margaret (Benjamin) Heemstra of Annapolis, Maryland. They have two beautiful grandchildren, Harper and Gavin.
