Robert and Carol Welliver celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary surrounded by family and friends at the John Ryan Brewery on May 25, 2024. They were married at Divine Providence Hospital Chapel by the late Reverend Joseph Streit.
Carol is the daughter of the late John and Eileen (Eck) Hamm. She graduated from Bishop Neumann High School in 1972. She pursued a life long career in banking and retired as vice president of Woodlands Bank after 46 years in the banking field.
Robert is the son of the late Robert J. Sr and Florence (Siwy) Welliver. He graduated from Williamsport High School in 1968 and always had a love for sports, especially baseball. He retired from Superior Plus Energy after 36 years of service.
Carol and Bob are life long and active members of St. Boniface Church. They are very thankful for their blessings over the years, especially their children: Andrew of Pittsburgh, Kelly Anne of Williamsport and Mark (Meg) of Mechanicsburg. Carol and Bob treasure their annual trips with their children to the New Jersey shore in the summertime and get togethers with family and friends throughout the year. They are addicted to cruising the Caribbean, and take to the seas whenever they get the chance.
