Craig and Kathie Hunter celebrate 50 years of marriage on June 22, 2024. They were married at Messiah Lutheran Church in South Williamsport by the late Reverend E. Raymond Shaheen.
Kathie is the daughter of the late Robert and Jacqueline (Brouse) Griggs. She graduated from Loyalsock Township High School in 1970. After 15 years of working for the Lycoming County Planning Commission, she became the principal owner of Landplan, Inc., which provided planning and development consulting services across northern and central Pennsylvania. She retired in 2017. She was also a Montoursville Borough Councilperson for 21 years.
Craig is the son of the late Howard and Joyce (Keebler) Hunter. He graduated from Montoursville Area High School in 1970. He co-owned the family business, Keebler's Feed and; Farm Supplies, in Montoursville where he enjoyed the majority of his career. He retired upon sale of the business in 2009. He is an avid golfer and is a member of the Williamsport Country Club.
Craig and Kathie have one son, Corey (Kimberly) of State College, and two granddaughters, Lydia and Rachel. Craig and Kathie have been enjoying traveling during their retirement years, and have planned a celebratory cruise to the Mediterranean later this summer.
