Lawrence and Teresa Grieco observed their 55th wedding anniversary on June 14, 2024. They were married by Msgr. Francis Kane in the Church of the Annunciation, Williamsport on June 14, 1969.
Tess, a native of Williamsport, is the daughter of the late George and Henrietta Smith. She graduated from the former St. Joseph's High School in 1956 and was employed by Bell Telephone Co. as a supervisor in the traffic department before resigning to raise her three daughters.
Larry, a native of Lock Haven, is the son of the late Carmine and Gertrude Grieco. He also graduated from St. Joseph's in 1955 and is a retired chemistry teacher of 33 years from Muncy High School. He also was employed as a registered pharmacist in many of the area pharmacies, retiring in 2018 from Montgomery's Pharmacy in Hughesville.
They are the parents of three daughters: Maureen Grieco of Alexandria, Va., Ann Grieco of Boston, and Dr. Katherine Grieco of Hartford, Conn.
They will celebrate with family in late June.
