Howard and Ruth Persun celebrated 50 years of marriage with a 3-week trip cross country to Kingman Arizona; visiting National Parks along the way.
They were married May 25 at Annunciation Church (Now Saint Joseph the Worker Parish).
Ruth was born in Williamsport to James and Joan Brown (Foust). Ruth graduated from Bishop Neumann High School and is now working at the Williamsport YMCA as a swimming instructor.
Howard was born in Williamsport to Howard and Dorothy Persun (Hurley). Howard graduated from Williamsport High School; has an associate's degree from WACC and a bachelor's degree from Lycoming College. Howard is retired from the Lycoming County IT department.
Proud parents of Howard (Kathy) Persun and Kimberly ("Beamer") Pickert. One grandchild Nicodemus Pickert.
