Paul and Mary Jane Lorson of South Williamsport celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on September 12, 2024. They were married by the Rev. Joseph Fox at Immaculate Conception Church in Bastress.

The former Mary Jane Bower is the daughter of the late Edward and Madeline Bower. She graduated from Jersey Shore High School and was independently employed and a homemaker.

Paul is the son of the late Joseph and Ruth Lorson. He graduated from Jersey Shore High School and was the owner of Paul J. Lorson Plumbing and Heating.

They are the parents of Brenda (Scott) Mumma of Jersey Shore and Paul J. Lorson, Jr. of South Williamsport. They have four grandchildren: Nathaniel, Joshua, and Caleb Lorson and Haley Mumma. They are the great grandparents to Mathias and Asher. They celebrated their anniversary with a family dinner.
