John and Linda Snyder of Muncy celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on November 8, 2024.

They were married at St. Lutheran-Brick church in Montgomery. They were born at Muncy Valley Hospital two days apart and met 23 years later on a blind date. After changing careers of welding and nursing, together they continue to operate the family farm- “Pleasant Hill Farm.” Over the years they have enjoyed traveling, especially attending John’s army reunions. They have three children- Brian (Jes), Chad (Kari), and Tanya (Josh). They have nine grandchildren- Alexandra, Chase, Brady, Addison, Ava, Cole, Emmett, Klara, and Gage. A celebration was recently held hosted by their family.
