Couple celebrates 60 years
Only 2% of marriages in the United States last 60 years. Congratulations to John and Jayne Reynolds for reaching that rare milestone. John and Jayne Reynolds were married on November 27, 1965, at Garden View Baptist Church in Williamsport.
Jayne is the daughter of the late Justice of the Peace Woodrow and Phyllis Brown of Williamsport. John is the son of the late Robert and Lucile Reynolds of Montoursville.
They are the parents of two children Joy Reynolds McCoy and John Reynolds, Jr. They are Pap and Ghia to five grandchildren, Collin McCoy, Abigail McCoy, Liviu Reynolds, Janina Reynolds and Ionut Reynolds. The couple are proud parents and even prouder grandparents rarely missing a sporting event, concert or academic function.
John is the current President of Reynolds Iron Works, Inc., where he continues to work and has worked for the past 58 years. Established in 1921, Reynolds Iron Works is a family run business which John began in by sweeping floors.
The couple enjoys traveling in their motorhome across the country, spending time at their home in Florida, visiting Disney World, and cruising on the Disney ships.
They are being honored by their family at an open house to celebrate this incredible milestone with family and friends.
