Montoursville couple celebrates 55 years

Kathleen Louise Stibgen Snauffer and Donald Eugene Snauffer of Montoursville will celebrate their 55th wedding anniversary on May 22, 2026. They were married by the Revs. William Slee and William Martin in St. Matthew Lutheran Church in Williamsport. They are members of Bethany Evangelical Lutheran Church, Montoursville.

Mrs. Snauffer a native of Williamsport, is the daughter of the late Franklin W. and Ruth L. Stibgen. She graduated from Williamsport High School in 1967 and The Reading Hospital School of Nursing in 1970. She semi retired in 2015 after working at several places as an RN and fully retired in 2024.

Mr. Snauffer, a native of Williamsport, is the son of the late Robert G. and Lillian “Trudy” Snauffer. He graduated from Montoursville High School in 1967. He retired in 2015 from Phoenix Trim Works as a maintenance supervisor. He is also a part-time farmer.

They are the parents of 3 sons, Andrew (Evgeniya) of Victoria, British Columbia, Canada, Kenneth (Jennifer) of Muncy and Michael (Casandra) of Montoursville. There are 6 grandchildren, Zoey, Khi, Daniel, Aurora, Phoenix and Savannah, one great grandson, Anakin, 5 step grandchildren, Austin, Collin, Owen, Levi, and Rainna, and 6 step great grandchildren, Alexander, Braylee, Sophia, Aurora, Gwendolyn, and Elora.

A family dinner is planned in honor of their anniversary.
